3 Act Maths
Today we used you tube to inspire our Mathematical Thinking. This catered for different needs and learning styles. Here the Maths alongside the creativity was rewarded.
Maths is fun and interesting and challenging and I love it. Because you learn new and awesome strategies by having time to work them out yourself and listen to others in our group. Its tricky and cool and i love times tables they are just 'groups of'. We worked on our 7 and groups of 5, in one of our problems where we used these groups to make 38grams. beau.
All your math looks fun because its fun and tricky. i learned a lot from math i love math. I learnt my times because it is just 'groups of' it isn't tricky. I learnt about place value through using the play money. I know how to plus really high numbers - 1331 + 2121 = 3452.
Maths is fun but challenging. I like to work in small groups because it is not so noisy. I love doing whats my number and making clines. Clines show us how to show measurement through words .I like 3 act maths, because I like watching the videos and you use your imagination for it. I love ninga maths!
