Countdown Timer Game
Today we tried playing this game.
Here we are given a set of numbers and a 3 digit number.
We need to use the different operations and the numbers are to be used only once to make 303.
What different ways can you think of?

Group Tai :grouping our numbers - the base to multiplication
Today we have been grouping patterns according to number is each group. We have had robust conversations is it 3 groups of 6 or 6 groups of 3.Our aim is for the students to see reversibility and seeing numbers in different ways. The total always is the same, that is something we are agreeing on.

Special interest:
Today we are building on from our first session, we are finding a variety of strategies to solve multiplication problems in our heads.
Our thinking as a group is so much deeper and clearer when working together.
Kind Regards,
Kim
